Now You See It, Now You Don’t

As part of the San Bruno, California, gas pipeline disaster, it’s been discovered that for years Pacific Gas and Electric Company employees filled out important maintenance documents using erasable ink. “We didn’t have a choice,” a┬ácompany spokesman explained. “Office Depot was out of invisible ink and our guidelines say writing with milk or lemon juice isn’t allowed.”
