Bossie Lite
Scientists in New Zealand have bred a herd of cows that produce skim milk. The cows, bred from a female they discovered with a genetic mutation, make milk that isn’t only lite, but makes soft spreadable butter. Though they say it could be five to 10 years before the milk is ready for market, in the meantime they’re searching their herds for a cow that produces chocolate milk. Then a steer with the cheese gene so it makes instant cheeseburgers. Before you know it their chickens will lay eggs with bacon and browns in them. It’s a wonderful brave new world.
